TechDivision is awarded as TOP employer in the medium-sized business sector for the fourth time in a row
Since 2018, Focus-Business Magazine has been honoring the top employers of medium-sized businesses in Germany. The magazine works closely with kununu.com, the employer evaluation portal for employees, trainees and applicants, to determine the ranking of medium-sized companies. Therefore, the ranking is based on the feedback of the employees, which guarantees the corresponding meaningfulness.
As in 2018, 2019 and 2020, TechDivision is awarded as one of the top employers in the SME sector for 2021. For the ranking, kununu evaluates 4 million evaluations from more than 950,000 companies. The following criteria apply for a company to be included in the evaluation:
- A kununu score of at least 3.5 stars
- At least 10 employee evaluations (5 of which since 2019)
- A recommendation rate of at least 70%
- Company location in Germany
- Number of employees between 11 and 500
METHODOLOGY OF EVALUATION
For each employer, a value between 100 and 200 was calculated, which is the result of the following two factors: average rating and the number of ratings on Kununu
In order to ensure that companies with many employees (who can give more ratings) are not automatically better off than companies with fewer employees, all employers were sorted into size categories (according to their number of employees) and finally compared and rated with the companies in their reference group.
The results generated within the groups in this way were determined based on the respective minimum and maximum ratings. The 4000 TOP employers with the best results across all groups were included in the ranking.
In the category “100 Top Employers in Medium-Sized Businesses”, we achieved a score of 186.9, putting us in the gratifying 42nd place — and that among 4,000 award-winning medium-sized companies from all over Germany. And if that wasn’t enough, the icing on the cake is the “Internet & Multimedia” category. There, we even made it to 3rd place and can improve even our ranking further compared to previous years.
In the meantime, we have received a total of 95 evaluations from our employees, who attest us an average rating of 4.6 points (out of a maximum of 5.0) as well as a sensational recommendation rate of 100% (!!!)!

The corona-related home office situation has also demanded a lot from the entire team, especially in the first weeks of March and April this year. We are therefore very pleased that we have received very positive feedback on how we have dealt with the situation so far.
